Sylacauga Volleyball finishes area runner-up, advances to Regionals in Montgomery

SYLACAUGA, Ala - The Sylacauga Lady Aggies are headed to Montgomery for the South Regional Tournament after a strong showing in the Class 5A Area 8 Tournament this week. Entering as the number two seed, the Aggies battled past Shelby County in the opening round to secure their spot in the area championship and punch their ticket to regionals.

In the area title match, Sylacauga faced a talented Briarwood Christian team, the tournament's top seed, and fell in a hard fought contest to finish as area runner up.

With their regional berth locked in, the Aggies now turn their focus to Montgomery as they look to make a deep postseason run and continue representing Sylacauga with pride.
